Yesterday we caught a glimpse of SANAA’s famous facade for the New Museum on Bowery, this time with the equivalent of a new hair scrunchie.
We especially like the way Ugo Rondinone’s ‘Hell, Yes!’ enhanced the texture of the metal facade without overwhelming it. In contrast, Isa Genzken’s Rose II doesn’t stand out in one way or the other. It’s not offensive, nor is it particularly remarkable.
